Spectrum Aeromed Obtains AS9100 Rev C Certification

Fargo, N.D. - Spectrum Aeromed announces that the company successfully completed all requirements for AS9100 Rev C certification. The highly recognized certification is an aerospace industry standard on quality control and continual process improvement.
“We are extremely proud of our team for obtaining the AS9100 Rev C certification,” said Spectrum Aeromed Production Manager Bob Daily. “We have worked diligently with the auditing organization to document and standardize all of the processes we have throughout the company. As we grow and add employees they will know and understand how to do their jobs efficiently because of the standardization. This certification continues to reiterate our dedication to continual improvement and providing our customers with the best products and service possible.”
AS9100 Rev C is recognized as the highest level of quality assurance in the aerospace industry. It is the aerospace version of ISO9000. The AS9100 three-year process includes rigorous requirements for safety and quality in order to obtain certification. Every process in a company is scrutinized and documented to improve efficiencies. This certification not only analyzes manufacturing and production, but also administration in order to improve the entire organization.
“Quality and continuous improvement have always been non-negotiable for our company,” said President and CEO Dean Atchison. “This certification puts a seal of approval and positive affirmation on our business practices and the way we operate as a company. I am very proud of the great work that our employees put into obtaining this highly regarded, internationally recognized certification.”
