Waypoint AirMed & Rescue, April 2008: New Paris-based aircraft for Medic’Air

“Solutions for the unexpected” is what the new dedicated air ambulance aircraft based out of the Paris will provide says the French company, Medic’ Air International. Two aircraft corporations and a medical reparation agency partnered together to purchase the Beech King Air 1900C for this new air ambulance service.
The Beech 1900C is permanently on alert at the Paris le Bourget airport, and ready for take off in less than two hours for any emergency mission or scheduled repatriation flight in Europe and the Mediterranean region. Its medical team includes a physician and a flight nurse, who are fluent in both English and French languages.
This Medic’ Air International air ambulance is equipped with Spectrum Aeromed 2800 series modules and is configured for up to four ICU patient stretchers. Available with the Spectrum modules are 4 oxygen cylinders of 3,200 liters each, vacuum and medical air. The modules also have available the electrical supply to power the auxiliary medical equipment necessary to monitor and maintain the patient’s status during the flight.
