Spectrum Aeromed’s First United Way Campaign A Success

Fargo, N.D. (Dec 30, 2008) – Spectrum Aeromed has conducted its first internal United Way campaign, resulting in $6,224 raised and 100 percent employee participation.

By accepting aggressive goals and holding its employee campaign in August Spectrum Aeromed was a Pacesetter company for the local United Way of Cass Clay. Participation reached 100% with 15 employees donating to the company’s first ever campaign, which also resulted in 2 Key Club Givers (individuals giving $500 or more).

Dean Atchison, Spectrum Aeromed’s president and CEO, challenged employees to participate by agreeing to take a pie in the face if 100% employee participation was met. “Spectrum Aeromed moved into the Fargo – Moorhead area in June of this year and we feel it is very important for us to take an active part in giving back to the community. United Way of Cass-Clay is leading change and improvement in this Region and is having a very positive impact with the dollars it receives. Taking a pie in the face was a fun way to show our employees how important their support of United Way of Cass-Clay is to me.”
